We would also like to acknowledge the work and support of the Brisbane City Council. Since 2001 Brisbane City Council have sponsored regular Community Peer Leadership Programs which have seen community leaders from a range of cultural, sporting and environmental groups participate in an extensive leadership development program facilitated by Volunteering Queensland. Some of the leaders who have participated in these programs are featured in case studies of this website.
