Family volunteering

It's all about family bonding and contributing to the community. Members of the family be it parents, children or the extended family come together to participate in fun, meaningful activities for the betterment of their community.

Family volunteering impacts the family in certain, important ways: parents serve as role models when helping others; children gain a broader understanding of the world, an insight into different circumstances or conditions of living; a sense of accomplishment and worth among family members; and the family on the whole acquires new skills, makes use of their existing skills and basically has fun together while doing good.

Families can get involved in impactful activities like sorting donated books, craft projects, planting trees, fundraising activities, helping with brochure distribution, visiting nursing homes, or school and kindergarten activities.

If you wish to volunteer together with your family, search for volunteering opportunities on Linkki.

We would love to hear if you have ever volunteered with your family, tell us all about it in the comments section.
