The Flower Project

The Flower Project Foundation is a community kindness project. Their team of volunteers create and deliver surprise “bouquets of caring” to uplift people who care for others but aren’t always recognised. Recipients include carers, foster carers, parents of special needs children, volunteers and those working in the health/service professions that go above and beyond what they are paid to do.

The Flower Project also give an emotional boost to people who may need a little extra sunshine such as the elderly and isolated and those overcoming difficult life circumstances.

How can you help?

Become a volunteer with the project. Volunteers come from all ages and life experiences but all share a desire to make the community a more caring place. You can volunteer as much or as little as you are able, opportunities will increase as The Flower Project expands.

You are invited to come along to the next Volunteer Information Session:

Sunday 22 July 2012, 2-3pm

Relaxation Centre of Qld, 15 South Pine Rd (Between Alderley Ave and Wakefield St) Alderley
