The impact of student volunteering for the university and the community

This forum examined the significant role volunteering plays within academia and in broader society. Presentations were from students, researchers and practitioners and looked at student engagement and how to best maximise these opportunities.

Volunteering plays a critical role within the university community... student volunteering is increasing as universities are developing a range of opportunities in the field of service learning.”
