The National Standards for Volunteer Involvement provide a sound framework for supporting the volunteer sector in Australia. Whether you have an established volunteer program, or are just starting out, the Standards will guide you to deliver the best outcomes for your volunteer program and support you in the recruitment, engagement and retention of volunteers.
This workshop will explore how you can implement the standards in your organisation and work towards delivering best practice to support your goals. You will be able to review your organisation’s engagement with volunteers and identify the next steps to deliver the best outcomes for your volunteers and volunteer program. You will also learn methods to implement change in your organisation.
There will be opportunities for discussion with other volunteer leaders to share knowledge and manage common challenges that you may encounter when implementing the standards.
