National Standards for Volunteer Involvement

The National Standards for Volunteer Involvement provide a sound roadmap to assist you in improving the performance of your volunteer-involving organisation.

This workshop will cover:

  • An overview of the 8 National Standards for Volunteer Involvement
  • Explore the benefits and barriers to implementing the Standards
  • Gap analysis against your organisation's current practice
  • Discussions and case studies to gain a broader idea on the Standards implementation
  • Practical strategies for the successful implementation of the Standards.

Participants will be provided with an invaluable tool to facilitate a self-audit and a hard copy and electronic copy of the Implementing the National Standards Guide and Workbook upon completion.

Whilst giving an overview of some key areas, you will gain knowledge from the latest research and the group. This will assist you in aiming for best practice in volunteer supervision.

Strategic Planning for Volunteer Involving Organisations

This workshop firstly focuses on ways to look at your organisation and the environment it operates in, trends and opportunities.

It will provide tools to identify realistic goals for the future and how to make a plan to achieve them. With practical tools and templates, case studies and discussion, this workshop will enable you to learn from others in the class. You will go away with useful ideas to implement a strategic planning process in your organisation.
